Wetterlanders

Wetterlanders is a serie reporting two years of dealing with depression.

​

Photographing myself and my world helped me to distract, reflect and accept. My camera helped me to get closer to my emotions and brought me childish wonder, expressed in creative excesses such as blowing bubbles in bed and projecting aliens on walls. Doing this brought me to another world. A world of beauty, fascination and inspiration.

It gave me hope.

I worked on this project during the Visa Pour L'image student program 2020. My work is curated by Bieke de Poorter and edited by Lucy Conticello (LeMonde, Fr). The project has been published in the book 'Encourage'.
